My (new) favorite things of 2019
This is my annual walk-around-the-house post to curate some of my favorite things of the year. You may find it useful as you’re looking for last minute gift inspirations in the practical category. Enjoy!
In no particular order…
Cutest little lamp
This is the lamp I have gifted twice to new members joining our team at work. It’s cute, looks sleek and just adds a touch of home to your work space.
You haven’t lived if…
you haven’t converted to a touch lamp. I love being able to just reach over and touch the lamp to switch it on. It also has three dimness levels. Price is unbeatable.
For UNO lovers,
This new version of Uno takes this game to a new level. Even the little ones follow on too and they love it!
My new favorite party favor
I just bought 20 of these for the kids upcoming birthday party back home. They are great for little hands when they get hit with the triple draw-4s. Also a great aid for seniors. Price is $!
For those with big ears
Headphones never stay in my ears so I’ve been loyal fan of Aftershokz bone conduction earphones. They just launched an even lighter version which I have finally decided to upgrade. Love them! (The cheaper version here)
Lady Gaga knows eyeliner
My favorite new make-up item of the year is the liquid eyeliner from haus labs. Stays on like ink and removes in a jiffy. Really well priced too.
Love some organization
I know this is old-school but nothing beats the organization for my stuff like Kaboodle. It’s so cute that I even got a matching one for Emmy for her hair things. Comes in all the colors.
It makes a difference
You know you’re on to something when a video editor ‘s life is changed after using this mouse pad. I have purchased almost ten of these for many of my coworkers. Rave reviews!
It does it all!
I love this sturdy little wok for all the stir frys I do. It looks so beautiful on the stove top that I never have to put it away. Cleans easily and is a workhorse for sure! Wait for a sale at Sur La Table.
Actually, this one is for us grown-ups
You never would’ve guessed but Mikee was a professional “street fighter” (Dhalsim) in his college days. And me? Love love love the simulation games. If I’m nice, I’ll let the kids play :). Looking forward to bonding with the family over gaming. Like Peloton, I’ve never met a Nintendo Switch family that didn’t love theirs. $30 off on Amazon now!
